problems with blood sugar?
Posted on Jun 14, 2009 under insulin resistance symptoms | 2 Commentswhenever i eat certain amounts of carbs or sugar, I get any of these symptoms after I eat the food:
-Migraines, with a bad headache and nausea
-Mood swings, aggression
-Depression
-Gas or bloating
-Dizziness and brain fogginess
Type 2 diabetes and obesity run in my families plus I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and almost all of its symptoms. What is the problem I am having? we think it's insulin resistance.
I am not diabetic ![]()
Insulin resistance caused by PCOS reflects what happens with Type 2 diabetes and is treated the same way, often with a diabetes dx. I would suggest seeing your doctor.

I would just go in and see your doc. I don't think the depression, gas, bloating and mood swings have anything to do with the diabetes.
The dizziness/ migraines, bad headaches could be due to low sugar, but if your not gong into insulin shock or hyperglycemia its prob. not that…
If you feel that there is something wrong, go see your doc. or any doc. and get tested. your blood sugar is nothing to play with.
