how long does glucophag (medication for diabetes) take to get out of the human system?

My mother is having an irritation on her skin, making her itch a lot for three weeks and it hasnt stopped….we are assuming its this medication, she has diabetes….pleas and thank you

If it has been 3 weeks it isn't the medicine. How is her blood sugar.. if it is running high that is why she has the irritation. She can overcome the diabetes with exercise and nutrition if she is able to stick to it and avoid meds altogether.
