A question abt PCOS…?

Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under insulin resistance syndrome | 2 Comments

I was recently diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome….can neone tell me wt do they mean when they say insulin resistance?im confused by wt it means…. thnx
is it sumthing very serious? do i have to live wid it forever? im really scared…

I too have PCOS and what they mean is that you could one day develop (if you haven't already) diabetes. The best thing to do is be checked for diabetes, the doctor will tell you what you should do from there.

It pretty much means that your body doesn't cope with sugar.
